Republic of the Congo Travel Adapters

The Republic of the Congo, often called Congo-Brazzaville, is a country in Central Africa bordered by Gabon, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Angola, with a short coastline on the Atlantic Ocean. The capital city is Brazzaville, located along the Congo River opposite Kinshasa. It should not be confused with the neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo (Congo-Kinshasa), which is a separate country with its own electrical standards.

The Republic of the Congo uses mains electricity supplied at about 230 volts at 50 Hz. Wall outlets use Type C and Type E sockets. Travelers from regions that use different plug types should bring a compatible travel adapter. Visitors should confirm that their electronic devices support 100–240V input or use an appropriate voltage converter if necessary.
