South Korea uses a 220V electrical system in modern installations. Older 110V systems were previously used in some locations.
Travelers to South Korea may encounter Type C and Type F outlets in current installations. Legacy Type A outlets existed in earlier 110V systems. A compatible travel adapter is recommended.
