Type A plugs (formally designated NEMA 1-15 and commonly called the US or Japan plug) have two flat parallel pins and are an ungrounded plug design encountered worldwide.
Electrical standard: typically 100–127 V / 50–60 Hz.
Adapters do not convert voltage.
